Πολιτικοί Γάμοι

ΚΥΠΡΙΟΙ

Στο Δήμο Λάρνακας τελούνται Πολιτικοί Γάμοι σύμφωνα με τις πρόνοιες του νέου Περί Γάμου Νόμου 104(Ι) του 2003.

Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι πρέπει να αποτείνονται προσωπικά στο γραφείο Πολιτικών Γάμων του Δήμου Λάρνακας για να ενημερώνονται αναφορικά με τα απαραίτητα έντυπα που χρειάζεται να προσκομίσουν προκειμένου να τελέσουν το γάμο τους. Πολιτικοί Γάμοι μπορούν να τελεστούν μεταξύ Κυπρίων, μεταξύ ξένων ή μεταξύ Κυπρίων και ξένων.

Εφόσον οι ενδιαφερόμενοι προσκομίσουν όλα τα απαραίτητα έντυπα ο γάμος μπορεί να προχωρήσει είτε με τη διαδικασία γνωστοποίησης γάμου όπου ο γάμος τελείται μετά από παρέλευση 15 ημερών από την ημερομηνία αίτησής τους αλλά όχι πέραν των 3 μηνών είτε με τη διαδικασία επίσπευσης, εφόσον ο Λειτουργός Γάμου κρίνει ότι συντρέχουν λόγοι επίσπευσης της διαδικασίας. Η τέλεση γάμου με επίσπευση μπορεί να γίνει από την ίδια μέρα που υποβάλλεται η αίτηση από τους ενδιαφερόμενους ή σε λιγότερο από δεκαπέντε μέρες.

Η τελετή γίνεται στα γραφεία του Δήμου Λάρνακας σε ειδικά διαμορφωμένο χώρο.

Πολιτικοί Γάμοι μεταξύ Αλλοδαπών, Κύπριων και Κύπριων με Αλλοδαπούς.

Κύπριοι

1. Ένορκο Δήλωση ενώπιον Πρωτοκολλητή Επαρχιακού Δικαστηρίου.
2. Βεβαίωση από Ληξίαρχο Γάμων – Υπουργείο Εσωτερικών.
3. Διαζύγιο (τελεσίδικο και αμετάκλητο) 1.
4. Πιστοποιητικό Θανάτου Συζύγου 2.
5. Αντίγραφο Πιστοποιητικού Γεννήσεως.
6. Διαβατήριο.
7. Ταυτότητα.

Υπάρχουν δύο διαδικασίες που οι ενδιαφερόμενοι μπορούν να ακολουθήσουν. Με Επίσπευση ή με Κανονική Διαδικασία (Γνωστοποίηση).

Διαδικασία Επίσπευσης:
Εάν το ζευγάρι έχει ειδικό λόγο και επιθυμεί να συνάψει το γάμο του με επίσπευση μπορεί να παντρευτεί την ίδια μέρα υποβολής της αίτησής του ή σε λιγότερο από 15 μέρες.

Κανονική Διαδικασία:
Με κανονική διαδικασία (Γνωστοποίηση) το ζευγάρι μπορεί να τελέσει το γάμο του μετά την παρέλευση 15 ημερών από τη μέρα υποβολής της αίτησής τους αλλά όχι πέραν των 3 μηνών.

Η τελετή γάμου είναι πολύ απλή. Διαρκεί μόνο 10-15 περίπου λεπτά. Αμέσως μετά την τέλεση του γάμου δίδεται το πρωτότυπο πιστοποιητικό γάμου στο ζευγάρι την ίδια ώρα υπογραμμένο από το Λειτουργό Γάμου.

Οι εργάσιμες μέρες και ώρες είναι από Δευτέρα μέχρι Παρασκευή 7:30 π.μ μέχρι 2:30 μ.μ και Πέμπτη απόγευμα από 3:00 μ.μ μέχρι 6:00 μ.μ.

Για πιστά αντίγραφα πιστοποιητικού γάμου τα ζευγάρια μπορούν να αποτείνονται στο Γραφείο Πολιτικών Γάμων του Δήμου Λάρνακας.

Τα τέλη του γάμου με τις πιο πάνω διαδικασίες είναι ως ακολούθως:

FOREIGNERS

Civil marriages can be solemnized at Larnaca Municipality according to the relevant legislation (Marriage Law 104(i) of 2003).

Interested parties must apply personally to the Civil Marriage Office of Larnaca Municipality in order to be informed about the documents they need to produce in order to solemnize a civil marriage at Larnaca Municipality.

Civil marriages can be solemnized between Cypriot citizens, Cypriots with foreigners and between foreigners.

When the interested parties present all the necessary documents, the marriage can be solemnized either by Notice of Marriage (with this procedure the couple is allowed to get married only after 15 days from the day of their application but not later than 3 months) or by Special Procedure, in cases where the Marriage Officer agrees that there are significant reasons to speed up the process. In the case of Special Procedure the marriage can be celebrated from the first day of their application or less than 15 days.

The civil Marriage ceremony takes place at the Municipal Town Offices, 38 Avenue Athenon (in a place especially arranged for the ceremony).

Civil Marriage between foreigners:
Civil Marriage can take place between foreigners, Cypriots and Foreigners with Cypriots at Larnaca Municipality. In order to file an application for marriage the couple has to obtain certificates of marital status as follows:

Foreigners

1. Recent Certificate of Marital Status from Government Authority (i.e Town Hall, Ministry of Interior, Registry Office, Embassy etc).
2. Divorce Certificate.
3. Death Certificate of Spouce.
4. Birth Certificate.
5. Passport.

All the above documents must be recent, original and officially translated into English.
There are two procedures of Civil Marriage. The Special Procedure and the procedure by notice of Marriage.

Special Procedure:
If the couple has special reason for marrying early it will follow the Special procedure whereby they can get married the same day of their application or less than fifteen days.

Notice of Marriage:
In this case the couple will sign the notice of Marriage and can get married after 15 days from the day of their application but not later than 3 months.

Our working days and hours are Mondays to Fridays from 7.30 a.m till 2.30 p.m and Thursdays from 3.00 p.m till 6.00 p.m.

The ceremony is very simple and takes about 10-15 minutes. After the celebration of marriage the couple, the witnesses and the Marriage Officer signs the certificates and we give to the couple 1 original certificate of marriage.

For certified true copy of the Certificate of Marriage the couple must apply at the Civil Marriage Office of Larnaca Municipality.
